Even though the Anaheim Ducks are still in a position to make the playoffs, it still seems a bit of a reach for the moment. They are 2 points shy of a playoff spot in the West, but they played 3 more games than the 8th place Dallas Stars.

With the trade deadline coming very soon, the Ducks will have some tough decisions to make : Hampus Lindholm and Rickard Rakell will be UFA's this summer, and for the moment, the two players are nowhere near to sign an extension with team.
Ducks' management already said that if they weren't able to make a deal with one or both players, they will look to trade them in order to not lose them for nothing.
And Rickard Rakell could be an interesting player to pursue for the Flyers. Of course, they are not going to look at acquiring him on March 21st, but if he doesn't sign an extension with the Ducks (or the team he is traded to), Chuck Fletcher should definitely look at him.

Rakell is capable of playing at center (he is used a lot on the wing in Anaheim), which is a position of need in Philadelphia, along with the right side of the defense.
Philadelphia are in need of some talent and Rakell fits in that category. He is a two time 30 goal scorer, and has 26 points in 46 games this season. The forward is an all-rounded player. The Flyers need some depth and Rakell could help.
Imagine him at center on the 3rd line with Ratcliffe and Willeman ?
At center on the 2nd on 3rd line, it could certainly make some sense. But again, it will depend on the price he'll ask this summer.
