Danny Briere Issues Statement on Carter Hart Turning Himself In

Philadelphia Flyers GM Danny Briere held a press conference this morning to address the status of the team at the mid-way point of the Season. The main question on everyone's mind is What is Going on With Carter Hart!? There has been a lot of speculation on if Carters Leave of Absence requested yesterday has anything to with the legal trouble his 2018 World Junior team found themselves in last year. Consider a few of his other teammates also requested leaves of absence, and the London Police this morning requested that at least 5 players turn themselves in, it's starting to seem possible.
Danny Briere had this to say on the subject:
We are aware of this morning's press reports on a very serious matter. We will respond appropriately when the outcomes of the investigations are made public. The NHL has been very clear that teams should refer all investigation related questions to them. In the meantime, members of the organization, including Flyers players, will not be commenting any further. That's all we can say at the moment.
This is all speculations at this point. We as Flyers fans hope for the best for Carter Hart and that this will be a minor stop on his way to furthering an already bright career!
