Danny Briere is dedicated to becoming a successful general manager for the Philadelphia Flyers franchise in the future. In my opinion, his draft this year was arguably successful since the prospect pipeline he has is showing great promise.

There is no doubt that the addition of Matvei Michkov, Carson Bjarnasson, Oliver Bonk, and more will make this team into a well-built machine for the foreseeable future.
flyers GM, Danny Briere, refuses to perpetuate a losing mindset, he doesn't believe in tanking.

Briere better say they are not tanking and then the Flyers better be drafting in the top 5 :) Both can exist.
In an interview with local media, Briere expressed his aspirations for the team, where he hopes the team will go out and win every night if they can, and he would like to see that happen.
It is evident that with the "New Era of Orange" the team will not be tanking any longer, and with John Tortorella as coach, the expectations will continue to rise year after year.
Keeping the team in the hunt for more wins than last year will be the key to exceeding expectations as the team develops players all the while.
«At the end of the day, the players are going to decide that,» Brière said of deciding who is ready. «If they're not ready to play, we're not going to keep forcing them back into the lineup. We're going to give them the chance to maybe get their confidence back somehow. Depending on who they are, some guys can go down to the minors, some guys will need a little bit more practice time. We'll try to gauge the temperature. There's no doubt that it's critical to develop our young guys and think about the long-term prospects for this organization.»

There is no doubt that they will not be contenders right away, but it is obvious that the goal is to keep stepping up standards as a team and to play on a regular basis.
With players such as Elliot Desnoyers, Tyson Foerster, Bobby Brink, and Emil Andrae on their way to cracking the lineup next season, the team continues to move forward with youth and continues his development into building a contender for the future.
As the team continues to recruit and develop young players, the future looks bright for the Philadelphia Flyers.
«It's about the future,» Brière said when asked what success this season looks like. «It's about the development and how we come together as a team.

«We're not trying to lose. We're trying to develop our guys in, hopefully, a winning culture but [also] an environment where they leave everything they have on the ice every single night. And I hope and think that our fans will respect that.»
