We are one month into the NHL's free agency and its shocking some of the names still available. Including forward Nazem Kadri. After the season he had racking up 87 points and helping the Avalanche win the Stanley Cup I didn't think Kadri would be unsigned still.

However, two sources have claimed that the former Colorado Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri has reportedly signed a deal with the New York Islanders.

The issue now is other then Pagnotta's claims that a deal is done no one else has confirmed this deal. However, Kadri has been rumoured to be going to the Islanders ever since Lou Lamoriello couldn't get Johnny Gaudreau.
just yesterday NHLinsider Frank Seravalli reported that, while Kadri hasn't signed with the Isles, the team has presented him with a seven year, $49 million deal.
"I think the Isles put an offer on the table for Kadri. Other teams have told me they believe it's in the 7x7 range."
