Derick Brassard close to an NHL record after being traded to the Oilers

Derick Brassard took the direction of Edmonton yesterday, as he was traded by the Flyers for a 4th round pick in 2023. However, this deal isn't the main subject of this article.
By being traded to the Oilers, Derick Brassard is set to play with a tenth franchise in his career. Only Mike Sillinger skated for more teams (12) during his stint in the NHL.
What is more impressing is that Brassard played for only two teams through the first 10 years of his NHL career. Since the 2016-17 season, the former Flyer skated for 8 different teams.
That's a lot, to say the least!
