After today's practice, Derick Brassard took some time to discuss with reporters, and he was asked about his mindset with the trade deadline in a few weeks. He said that he didn't talk yet with GM Chuck Fletcher or his agent about it.
However, he knows that he could very well be on the departure and multiple teams could use his services. It's the case of the Toronto Maple Leafs, who are also among the teams interested in Justin Braun.
There's something to be noted though : the Maple Leafs only scouted the Flyers one time since mid January. With the deadline approaching, I think that the Leafs will be more active in their scouting process...
