Devastating news for the Nashville Predators
The Nashville Predators, despite some scepticism toward their chances to make the playoffs at the beginning of the year, clinched a spot in the postseason. They will face either the Calgary Flames or the Colorado Avalanche.
They have a pretty balanced team, but the factor that allowed them to have such a good season was the play of their starting goaltender Juuse Saros. He played 67 games (!) this year, registering a 38-25-3 record, a 2.64 GAA and a .918 save percentage.We know that the task to eliminate Calgary or Colorado will be extremely difficult. But it became way tougher today, as Juuse Saros could miss 4 to 6 weeks after suffering a high ankle sprain according to Atzosports.
It's obviously a devastating news for them, and it's difficult to see how they could beat either Colorado or Calgary in the first round without their star goaltender...
