As the Pittsburgh Penguins have made a lot of moves recently, Kyle Dubas has made some bargain additions to the team.

It is not surprising that he has been bringing in many players he has been connected to before the Penguins came along, one of them being Noel Acciari who went to the Penguins before the latest signing.
Dubas is now focusing on the AHL and adding goalie depth if that can be called what it is.
The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed Garrett Sparks in a move that reunites him with his former Toronto Maple Leafs boss, Kyle Dubas.

When he had to deal with the effects of a concussion, he had to adjust how he played to keep playing.
Sparks, who spent most of last season playing for the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL, is now giving himself an opportunity in the AHL where he will be able to showcase his skills.
There will be a lot of competition for a spot among Sparks, Magnus Hellberg, Taylor Gauthier, and Alex Nedjelkovic.
It should be noted that the goaltender has only played in 40 games in the NHL, but his AHL stats in the Springfield Thunderbirds organization suggest that he may still have some potential left. He has a .924 save percentage and a 2.38 GAA in just three games, but this was only a small sample size of three games.
