Edmonton Oilers Release a Medical Update Regarding Evander Kane's Wrist Slitting Incident

Forward Evander Kane of the Edmonton Oilers sustained a horrifying injury during Tuesday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. It was heartbreaking to see Kane bleed out when Lightning forward Patrick Maroon unintentionally skated over his wrist.

We have good news: he is doing OK! The following details were made public by The Oilers and BR report:

A ''wrist slitting'' injury can sideline a player 4-6 months.
