Evgeni Malkin Takes 28 Penalty Mins VS Flyers and Gets Ejected
Starting in 1967 the Battle of Pennsylvania is always exciting and chock full of tenacity.
As expected the Penguins went full-force into the game as they're battling for their 17th consecutive playoff berth, with an unlikely Wildcard spot being coveted this season.
What's troubling is,
Evgeni Malkin despite the importance of this game, let his emotions control him and was ejected, after he was penalized 4(!!) times in this game.

28 PIM in a game such as this, is concerning for a veteran and a leader, Malkin would go on to set a precedent as being the only player to acquire 28 PIM in one game this season.
The Flyers obviously got underneath Malkin's skin as they didn't make the bid for a Wildcard any easier, despite losing 2-4.
The Penguins would end up sweeping the series with this loss, with Tortorella back behind the bench.
If the Flyers are to continue to make strides, making the Penguins' post-season difficult should be a goal, always.
