First huge trade of the deadline season between Calgary and Montreal

The Montreal Canadiens traded forward Tyler Toffoli to Calgary for a 1st round pick in 2022, a 5th round pick, prospect Emil Heinemann and Tyler Pitlick.

The least we can say is that Montreal got a huge return for Toffoli. He is an excellent scorer and will give the Flames more depth at the wing positing.

Also, it indicates that the return for a potential Claude Giroux trade will also be big for Chuck Fletcher and the Flyers. Some said that a 1st round pick and a prospect are maybe a bit too much, but it seems not to be the case.
