As John Tortorella once stated ''We are going to play the kids'', Flyers fans, and myself personally cannot be more excited to see ''the kids'' get their opportunity to shine on and off the ice, with their style of play on ice and their building-leadership off-ice.

One of those ''kids'' in particular stands out more then others, and that is forward, Wade Allison who was the Flyers second round 54th overall pick of the 2016 NHL entry draft. Since being drafted in 2016 (six years ago), Allison has only seen thirty-eight games while developing with the Flyers minor league team, the Leigh Valley Phantoms.
Allison's development was cut short due to his leadership abilities, and by that we are referencing Allison's fight during the Flyers rookie camp nearly two years ago, where he broke his wrist in a fight, standing up for his teammate.
Must read on FlyersInsider

As mentioned previously, Allison has only seen 38 AHL games, and 28 last season, but Torts and the Flyers management feels as if he is good to go, and he sure looks good in a Flyers jersey!
Allison scored a very important goal against the Carolina Hurricanes in last nights game, and you gotta see it- he got to the gritty area, and made it work!
