Flyers' Carter Hart opens up on the rumor that he will be traded
Carter Hart spoke for the first time in a while to the Philadelphia Flyers media, addressing trade rumors among other topics.
The trade rumors that have surfaced all off-season haven't moved Hart, who is entering a contract year. His focus has always been on becoming a better NHL player.

Hart said offseason trade rumors didn't bother him. Said Danny Briere is a good man, good GM. Hart said he's confident he'll be a Flyer moving forward.

Also mentioned in the interview is his great relationship with GM Danny Briere. Hockey Canada came up during the interview, and it seems all the trade rumors, as well as the uncertainty surrounding the investigation, stemmed from that.
Hart's decision to take the Flyers off Instagram and go private stoked fears that judgement may be forthcoming, but nothing has materialized regarding the Hockey Canada scandal as of yet.
Meanwhile, Hart believes Danny Briere is leading the organization in the right direction.
