Philadelphia Flyers Wade Allison has endured his fourth injury of his very short NHL career thus far, and it is not a good sign. Allison was drafted by the Flyers organization back in 2016, dating seven years ago to this day, but his development has been greatly affected by several injuries.
Allison left Thursday's game against the Minnesota Wild, sadly, where Allison was born (Carman, Manitoba) he could not play the game in front of the large group of family and friends that came to watch him live. He blocked a heavy shot from a Minnesota Wild player on Thursday, and did not return to the next game.
As we are all aware of, Chuck Fletcher's injury analysis' are not always accurate, but we hope for the sake of Allison that is is, and it's only day-to-day. There has been talk that he is having some major bruising in the area that the shot was blocked.
Before Allison left Thursday's game against the Minnesota Wild he did what he does best, and let his presence be known to his teammates and the crowd after being involved in one of three fights that took place in fifteen seconds time.
