Flyers Defensemen Temporarily Leaves The NHL
In the past 24 to 48 hours there has been rampant speculation too why Tony DeAngelo was not present for two games. Rumors from injuries to a possible trade in the works were all answered tonight by a few pundits of the Flyers.
The first-round 19th overall pick in the 2014 draft has played 26 games for the Flyers with four goals 10 assists for 14 points and 32 penalty minutes. Before the family matter arose, DeAngelo was on a four-game point streak.
He's currently working off a two year deal worth 10 million dollars and a cap hit of $5 million AAV.
We can only hope that this matter will be concluded quickly and that everything for the DeAngelo family will turn out well.
