Reports have recently surfaced that the Edmonton Oilers are in need of a ''tough guy'' who can also put up points, they are in search for somebody to replace Evander Kane's lineup spot in the mean time until he gets back, and Oilers general manager Ken Holland is willing to pay the price for someone within Kane's caliber, or a lower-budget type of players as they will just be a filler.
One Flyer has been linked to the Edmonton Oilers..
That Flyer is forward Zack MacEwen, who has developed a strong love within the organization and fan base throughout his 27 games with the team this season.

The tough thing about the Flyers trading MacEwen away is that no matter how much he's likely in Philly, Flyers fans are going to be extremely disappointed in the return that Chuck Fletcher will fetch, which will likely be a 3rd or 4th round pick at most.
