Flyers Fans Aren't Too Happy After Claude Giroux's Superbowl Prediction
The Super Bowl is circled every season by all NFL fans. Regardless of whether your team has a chance or not, most fans tune in to see who will take home the Vince Lombardi trophy.
For Super Bowl 57, it was down to the Kansas City Chiefs versus the Philadelphia Eagles. Former Flyers and current Ottawa Senator Claude Giroux weighed in on his prediction stating the Kansas City Chiefs will win this year.
Patrick Mahomes and his Kansas City Chiefs did win the Super Bowl by a score of 38-35. It was certainly an exciting game with constant changes in the lead, unfortunately for the Eagles, Mahomes decided to have a strong second half after wrecking his ankle again.
Giroux has been having a productive season with the senators playing 51 games, scoring 21 goals and 28 assists for 49 points.
The Flyers lost 4-3 against the Seattle Kraken and will be completing a home-and-home series on the road on Thursday, February 16th in a rematch.
