After a 5-game road trip that saw the Flyers dip into a bit of a lull, the team is finally back home for the first time since Dec. 21 as it welcomes the Columbus Blue Jackets to the Wells Fargo Center. The Flyers look to break out of a stretch that has seen them drop five of their last six games and get back on track to gain some momentum in the Metro Division.

This is the third matchup between the Flyers and Blue Jackets this season with the Flyers taking both of their first two matchups including a victory on opening night in Columbus.
One key for the Flyers is playing clean and being well rested. Toward the end of their road trip, especially in their final two games, you could tell they were fatigued and it showed in their play. Committing sloppy penalties and being outlasted in the third period has made the difference in the past few games and is something Coach Tortorella is looking to change.
The line of Couturier-Farabee-Konecny has been extremely strong as of late with Farabee coming into his own and Konecny on pace for an All-Star appearance. The Flyers look to them to be a spark for their offensive attack.

For the Blue Jackets, Johnny Gaudreau and Zach Werenski are guys the Flyers will be keying on all night. Gaudreau leads the team in points with 25 points on seven goals and 18 assists and Werenski comes in with a team-high 24 assists.
With the Blue Jackets struggling with a 3-4-3 record over their past 10 games, tonight is a great opportunity for the Flyers to get back on track. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. EST.
