The Philadelphia Flyers will make the quick drive to the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on Tuesday night as they are set to take on the New Jersey Devils as they look to not only push their win streak to three games, but their point streak to nine games.
This kicks off a series of three games in four games for the Flyers before the leaguewide holiday break. This will be the Flyers second matchup with the Devils this year as they seek for revenge after an overtime 4-3 loss in Philadelphia on November 30.
Something to watch for is the goalie rotation of the Flyers. Although Carter Hart has had an extremely efficient season in the net so far with a 91% save percentage, Hart missed the previous win against the Red Wings which resulted in
Samuel Ersson producing a 1-0 shutout.
Obviously, having two great goaltenders is a problem that many clubs would love to have, but many Flyers fans will be keeping their eyes peeled for head coach John Tortorella's decision at 5:00p.m. today.

Another great sign for the Flyers is the availability of top defenseman
Travis Sanheim. Sanheim missed Saturday's win against Detroit but is said to be back in the lineup tonight to anchor that Flyers D. With Sanheim back, the Flyers are now able to use both him and
Rasmus Ristolainen on the penalty kill.
Both teams come into tonight's matchup playing their best hockey as of late and looking to keep pace in the tight Eastern Conference Standings. The Devils come into the matchup with 16 wins and 33 points, but have won seven of their last ten. The Flyers are ahead of the Devils in the standings with 17 wins and 37 points as they ride a two-game winning streak and eight-game point streak into the matchup.
There is sure to be fireworks in tonight's matchup as both teams come in skating the best they have all season. The historic rivalry just adds to the excitement surrounding tonights game.
