Flyers' John Tortorella Reveals The Starting Goaltender For Tonight's Game
John Tortorella spoke to the media this morning at the Flyers skate centre and revealed the starting goaltender for tonight's matchup against the Arizona Coyotes.
Tortorella reveals goaltender Carter Hart will be getting the start between the pipes after missing three straight games, where goaltender Samuel Ersson filled in and won all three.
Tortorella was asked why Hart didn't start the final two games in Cali. Torts said Hart felt fine before those 2 & underwent protocol but the people back home (the org) wanted "better results," so he sat. Cleared protocol pre-ANA, but Torts wanted to give Hart a little more time.
It seems as if the Flyers medical staff was taking extra precautions with Carter Hart.
