Flyers Linked To a Former Kings' First Round Pick

After a disastrous seaon for the Philadelphia Flyers, General Manager Chuck Fletcher is trying to turn the page and rebuild the Flyers back to its glory days.

The Flyers have been trying to load up on picks and prospects and have the fifth overall pick in the upcoming NHL draft, on July 7th in Montreal.
That's not all, as the hockey news site "The Fourth Period" reports. The Philadelphia Flyers are very interested in acquiring a top prospect from the Los Angeles Kings in Gabriel Vilardi.

Vilardi is a young 22 year old from Kingston, Ontario and was the Los Angeles kings 1st round pick in 2017, being selected 11th overall. Vilardi spent last season mainly in the American Hockey League where he registered 38 points in 39 games. He played 25 games in the NHL this year, scoring 5 goals and 2 assists.
