Flyers May be acquiring a BUST
Kailer Yamamato was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the first round as the 22nd overall pick in 2017.
Since he arrived in Edmonton, there has been a lot of anticipation around the young winger.
However, he has not lived up to the team's expectations, even though he has been paired with Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid on occasion.

There has been talk of buyouts and trades, and most recently, he has been linked to the Philadelphia Flyers.
Danny Briere's endgame is unknown, but with Edmonton's recent interest in Travis Konecny, could Yamamato be part of the deal?
If this is how the trade will unfold, it would make the most sense. Otherwise, the team may consider buying out the youngster, making him a UFA.
Briere could take on a reclamation project, and with John Tortorella's guidance, Yamamato may have a chance at a fresh start. However, it appears his time in Edmonton has come to an end.
