Last night's game against the Devils was quite a rough ride for the Flyers, as the team suffered a 7-0 loss. Despite throwing 23 shots at Devils goalie Akira Schmid the Flyers left the game without any answers. That didn't stop them however from showing that they would not go down without a fight.
At 9:15 in the second, Flyers defenseman Nick Seeler and Devils centre Michael McLeod decided to drop the gloves after boxing each other into the boards in behind Flyers goalie Sam Ersson. To say this fight was not a light one is an understatement, both players threw many bombs against one another and landed them squarely on each other's faces.
Overall it was a good solid fight on both sides, as many NHL fans know when the Flyers or the Devils meet one another usually there are a few tussles and always a bitter rivalry between the two clubs.
The Flyers will be playing their next game next Wednesday against the New York Rangers.
