The Philadelphia Flyers have officially begun their rebuild under general manager Danny Briere, and they are expected to finish in the bottom five this season.

Oliver Bonk (RD) and Denver Barkey (C), two London Knights, were selected by the Flyers in the 2023 NHL Draft. The orange and black may now be keeping an eye on another Knight.
The fifth-best prospect in the 2024 NHL Draft, Sam Dickinson, LD.
Sam Dickinson, who is in his draft year, has a high chance of having a successful season with the London Knights this year. The 17-year-old, who looked right at home, ate up a lot of minutes and had 23 points in 62 games in his first full campaign in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
Must read on FlyersInsider
Dickinson exhibits a strong work ethic and competitive level while being a very dynamic skater and two-way defender. When leading an attack, he is incredibly effective and displays excellent composure by making the appropriate plays when they count. It's entertaining to witness how much assurance and consistency he exudes. He has excellent defensive awareness and gap management, is a potent playmaker, and is as good while playing in his own zone. He is dependable and has a great hockey sense to top it all off.
Keep an eye on him as the season progresses and draft rankings go more in-depth!
