On Friday, the Philadelphia Flyers hosted their annual alumni game as they hosted the Boston Bruins Alumni at the Wells Fargo Center. Over 13,000 Flyers fans packed the house as they got to witness some of the franchises all-time greats get together and defeat the Bruins alumni 6-2 to kickoff Hall-of-Fame weekend.
From getting to see the legendary 1974 Stanley Cup on the teams 50th Anniversary to seeing legends like Mark Recchi, Eric Lindros and Mike Richards, Friday's alumni game was one to remember for Flyers fans.
Friday was especially meaningful for the 1974 Stanley Cup Champion Flyers team, celebrating their 50th Anniversary of becoming Champions. Flyers champion and legend Joe Watson still was able to hit the ice at the young age of 80, showing he can still lace it up and get it done.

Watson played with the Flyers for 11 seasons, winning two Stanley Cup Championships with the orange and black. Watson is one of the few who knows what it takes to embody the orange and black, playing in over 700 games for the Flyers.
Watson was able to have his special moment on Friday as he was introduced, for possibly his last alumni game.
