Despite an acceptable effort against the Red Wings yesterday, the Flyers dropped a 13th game in a row on the road. In fact, they still don't have a win outside Wells Fargo Center since January 1st.
But do you know who had an extremely difficult game?
Rasmus Ristolainen. It was pretty awful. He's responsible for 3 of the 6 goals of the Red Wings.
Watch him interfere with Carter Hart on the opening goal of the game...

On the second goal, he simply lost the puck after a poor decision...
On the fourth goal, Ristolainen attempted a stretch pass, but the puck got intercepted and finished in the back of Carter Hart's net a few seconds after...
On social media, some people weren't afraid to call out Ristolainen's performance. It wasn't only the three mistakes that led to three goals. He just struggled all night long when he had the puck on his stick.
Nonetheless, we gotta give credit to Ristolainen who acknowledged that he had a difficult game.
"Those things happen, and I'm strong mentally. I forget what happened before and try to move forward," said Ristolainen.
Mike Yeo came to his rescue, saying that Ristolainen was put into tough positions during the game.
1. Oskar Lindblom continued his good streak by scoring his 11th goal of the campaign. He's now 6 goals shy from his career high.
2. Rasmus Ristolainen had a tough night, but
Travis Sanheim, his partner on defense, continued to play very well. Even if he didn't register a point last night, he was directly involved in his team's 2nd goal.
3. The Flyers will now play the Blues, the Avalanche, the Predators and the Wild before heading back to Philadelphia. They are probably going to lose those 4 games, which isn't that bad if we want them to have the best possible odds for the Draft Lottery. If they lose all their games during this trip, they could possibly be last in the NHL by next week.
4. Speaking of the lottery, the Flyers now have the fifth worst record in the NHL. They are 6 points ahead of the Montreal Canadiens, who are the last place team in the league.
