Joe Sakic finally closed the Claude Giroux case

Multiple reports indicated that the only team Giroux agreed to be traded was the Florida Panthers.

Joe Sakic was asked yesterday during a press conference that he wasn't very interested in Claude Giroux. Him and Chuck Fletcher had talks about the former Flyer during two months, but obviously, Giroux chose Florida.

Neither Giroux or Fletcher wanted to answer to this question during their respective press conferences. Well, Joe Sakic did it for them.

Case closed, now.
