Sanheim is one the Flyers pillars on their blueline, and the team is likely ready to iron out a deal as soon as they can, to avoid distractions into the regular season.

A native of Elk Horn, Manitoba., the 26-year-old Sanheim, played 80 games with the Flyers in 2021-22, the six-foot-three defender scored seven goals and added 24 assists for 31 points.
