When watching any pro sports, whether it's football, basketball, baseball or hockey, you will see thousands maybe 10s of thousands wearing a jersey to represent who they like as a player on the team or just the team in general.

Hockey fans in particular take their jerseys very seriously as the NHL has been able two forgo littering their jerseys with ads Up until recently. It seems now that Commissioner Gary Bettman is doubling down on the idea of adding ads to jerseys to help bolster his revenues and give the shareholders a better bottom line.
Today, the Flyers unveiled their new jerseys as a part of their new rebranding for the next generation of Flyers the team is about to either draft or trade for.

The colour choice is a light baby blue over the top of a burnt orange with white on the shoulders. If they were looking for their patch to stand out it. Many fans took to Twitter once it was released and expressed their anger and dislike for this patch and its colour on the jersey.
Certainly, the fan base does not like this baby blue colour over the top of orange, I don't blame them. It remains whether the Flyers will make a change so that it will look better, especially on the home jerseys only time will tell.
