It's a welcome sight to see for both the Phantoms and the parent club the Flyers to see Brink displaying his scoring prowess. The 21-year-old right winger was drafted in the 2019 NHL Entry draft in the second round, 34th pick overall. He has played 7 games with 4 goals and 1 assist for 5 points.
With the Flyers in a state of flux, having improved their play recently and winning hockey games, it remains to be seen what General Manager Chuck Fletcher will do with the upcoming NHL trade deadline.
I do feel the Flyers need to shed some of their expensive contracts and recoup some assets while keeping their core of young talent intact. In my view, buying and selling will be in their near future.
