With the season he just had, it makes total sense.
Flyers goaltender Ivan Fedotov, who signed a 1-year, entry-level contract with the team on May 7th, received a great recognition, as he was named on the KHL All-Star team.
Former NHLers like Nikita Nesterov, Vadim Shipachyov and Nikolai Goldobin are also on this team.
This season, Fedotov registered a 14-10-2 record. During the KHL playoffs, he was an absolute monster as he presented a 17-9 record, a 1.96 GAA and a .933 save percentage. He won the Gagarin Cup this year with CSKA Moscow.
He was also the starting goaltender during the Beijing Olympics with Russia. He presented a 4-2 record with a 1.61 GAA and .942 save percentage.
