Philadelphia's season so far isn't going as expected. Currently sitting at the bottom of the Metropolitan Division with only 38 points, the Flyers need to change something and to change it quickly.

With the recent appointment of club legend Daniel Briere as special assistant to the general manager, Philly's board is looking to change the dynamic around the teams disappointing performances. While Briere's arrival may change some things, Flyers fans can only hope that their young gems are called-up to the first team.
Philly only won 2 of their last 15 matches so why not try something new? There is plenty of talents amongst the Flyers youth: Cameron York, German Rubstov, Morgan Frost and Linus Sandin all are prospects that could fit in the first team line-ups, with some that already played pro leagues in their home country.

It's more than time to see how they play in the NHL and so be able to witness how they've developed and how far they've come.
Furthermore, Flyers currently have 49 players under contract and are closing in on the contractual limit of 50. Making some of their younger players under contract play in the league could be the deciding factor in whether they deserve a place in the team. It is a chance to bring some fresh blood to the squad and cut ties with the ones who don't perform.
After all, with only a 2% chances of making the Play-Offs, what have the Flyers got to lose?
