Gauthier is coming off an excellent season with Boston College and also made the US national team during the Christmas holidays. The Flyers have hopes that soon cutter will decide to join the Flyers organization and continue his training and development with the Lehigh Valley phantoms.
Attard managed to get a few games in at the NHL level to give a glimpse of what he may bring to the team once he becomes a regular player. He shows the ability to hit and also has sound defensive play which will bode well with Head Coach John Tortorella's system.
The IIHF world championship will begin on May 12th and stretch to May 28th. The United States will play Finland in their first game.
