Flyers reporter announces who is going to be the next head coach and reveals when it's going to be made public by the team

The Flyers must take the best possible decision for the head coaching vacancy. A lot of fans have reached a point where they don't care anymore. Chuck Fletcher need to hire a "big name" to regenerate interest around the team.

And for the moment, it seems like a "big name" will indeed be named head coach. For the moment, three finalists have been revealed: John Tortorella, Peter DeBoer and Barry Trotz. But really, it seems like it's a two-men race.

However, everything points at John Tortorella to become the 23rd head coach in Flyers history. Jamey Baskow, from Flyers Nitty Gritty, wrote on Twitter that he believes Torts' is going to be appointed behind the bench, and added that the announcement will be made after the playoffs.
