Flyers trade plans may have changed because of the Coyotes

Even if there is a big point difference between the Coyotes and the Flyers, the realities of both teams are the same. They'll be sellers at the trade deadline, and some of their players will be courted by some playoffs teams.

So where am I going there?
Yesterday, the Coyotes and the Leafs agreed on a trade. Arizona sent Ryan Dzingel (he's already on waivers) and Ilya Lyubushkin to Toronto in exchange of Nick Ritchie and a conditional 2nd round pick.

There has been reports that some teams were interested in Justin Braun, and the Maple Leafs were the team that was the most cited in the this conversation. However, they just acquired a defenceman, who's role is pretty much the same than Braun.
The Leafs don't have any cap space left, and that's why they submitted Dzingel on waivers today. Thus, are they still interested in Braun, or did their plans change? That's possible.
Yeah, sure, there are other teams around the NHL. But the Leafs seemed to be particularly interested in Braun, and it's going to be tough for them to add another piece for the moment.
