I want to take you back several weeks ago, during the All-Star break. Johnny Gaudreau was in front of the medias and talked about how sad he was when the Flyers lost the Stanley Cup final to the Blackhawks in 2010.

In 2017, the South Jersey native said that "it would be sweet" to play with the Flyers one day.
And he'll be UFA this summer. Could he sign with the Flyers? Well, the organization have to look at it. He's an elite player and Philadelphia needs that kind of players. The only problem is that he's surely going to ask a LOT on his contract, as the Flyers doesn't necesseraly have a lot of free space under the cap.
Flyers beat writer Sam Carchidi also thinks that Gaudreau should absolutely be a priority for the team this summer. They need some pure talent and it's exactly what Gaudreau could bring to the team.
