Former Flyer Oskar Lindblom Will Return to the Wells Fargo Center in 2022-2023

It was rumbling around the arena and on social media. The Flyers had to make a tough decision and decided to buyout the remainder of beloved and now former Flyer, Oskar Lindblom. Just a few weeks ago, some may have not been able to believe this was happening. Essentially, Lindblom was struggling and needed a fresh start. Wherever it the landing spot was going to be.
Once the buyout happened, it wasn't long before Oskar was snatched up by a Western Conference team- the San Jose Sharks. Oskar signed a two-year $5 million dollar deal ($2.5 million AAV) the day free agency opened. He also will be playing with the number 23.
With the 2022-2023 season in the horizons, the Flyers will be playing and welcoming back their former captain in Claude Giroux, but also will be hosting the return of Oskar Lindblom to the Wells Fargo Center as a member of the San Jose Sharks on October 23rd at 7 p.m.
Lindblom will always have a special place in the hearts of Philadelphia Flyer's fans everywhere. WE ALL remain #OskarStrong.
