Former Philadelphia Flyers Captain and Star player Claude Giroux has bloomed as of late and has exceeded expectations in his new Ottawa Senators jersey. The NHL has named Claude Giroux the NHL's #1 start of the week.

He had the most points throughout the past seven days than anybody in the entire NHL, the 35-year old ''G'' has tallied up seven points and lead the Senators to three straight wins. Having multi-point games in each of those wins, to total his 65th 3-point game of his career. (Info via Sam Carchidi).
At age 35, Giroux is nearing a point per game total with 47 points (19 goals and 28 assists) in 49 games this season.
Does Giroux deserve to go into the Hockey Hall of Fame once he retires?
