Former Flyers Coach Signs Three-Year Extension with Kraken

Hakstol is 54 years old and has a few years of coaching experience. His time with the Flyers was successful, having three straight seasons of .500+ records, but then was fired prematurely in 2018. When the Kraken became a team, they went to Dave and he became their first Head Coach in franchise history.

2021 was a rough year, but Seattle stuck with him and it paid off because they made it to the second round.
