Former Flyers star Claude Giroux has always dazzled Flyers fans and the NHL with his skill set. That was clearly on display last night when the Senators played against the Washington Capitals.

The Senators were down 3-1 when Giroux made an amazing diving defensive play on the penalty kill outside the Washington zone. He did a nifty backhand pass to Tim Stutzle who backhanded it past Darcy Kuemper.

The Senators managed to tie up the game 3-3 , And with 3:30 left in overtime Giroux breaks down the right side with Alex de Brincat and does a fantastic pass over, and Debrincat buried the puck for the win.
Giroux had two assists on the night and 19 minutes of playing time. Giroux has played 35 games with 14 goals, and 17 assists, for 31 points. One might think trading Giroux was a mistake, I certainly do.
