Former Flyers forward is facing 12 years in prison in Russia

After the Kirill Kaprizov news got released - he is wanted in Russia for buying a fake military ID - three other players could face 12 years in prison after doing the same. And one of them is a former Flyers forward: Mikhail Vorobyov.

Vorobyov was drafted 104th overall by the Flyers in the 2015 Draft. He played 35 games in the NHL, all with the Flyers, between the 2018-19 season and 2019-20 season. He recorded 5 points.

He returned to Russia to play in the KHL in 2020. The SKA St. Petersburg forward played 41 games this season with the team and scored 19 points.
