Former Flyers litter the UFA market.
With the offseason in form, there are usually two times during the summer when fans are highly interested in the NHL. One is the NHL Entry Draft as teams that have not done well in the regular season or over many seasons attempt to build their team out with draft picks better quite strong.
The other time is the unrestricted free agency market. Teams will attempt to buy their talent to improve their roster for next season. Many players in this will cash out some mega money while attempting to get their best contracts possible.
In this year's unrestricted free agency market, the talent isn't as strong as it is in the past. Three former Flyers are on that list which includes James Van Riemsdyk, Radko Gudas and Shane Gotisbehere.
With those players available, I expect all three to be picked up by some team next year. Though I don't think they will pick up high-level contracts as most of them are on the trailing edge of their careers.
The NHL Entry Draft will be on June 28th and 29th an unrestricted free-agency day will be held in early July.
