After the Stanley Cup is awarded, many fans look to the Hockey Hall of Fame to see who they will induct from their past favourite players.

Generally, the Hall of Fame selects the right people to be inducted and recognized for their accomplishments and personal stats in the sport they love.
On the flip side of that, however, there's always a debate between fans about players that have been snubbed from being inducted during the year or years they are eligible. The list is long, and many names continue to baffle me as to why they would not be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Must read on FlyersInsider
Hall of Fame inductees are recognized for their talent in the game or for their contribution to the community. Former Flyers forward Rod Brind'amour is passed over for induction on that list. Many fanbases deduce their conclusions from the reasoning, which is never explained.
Brind'amour was selected in the 1988 NHL draft first round 9th overall by the St Louis Blues. He spent nine seasons with the Flyers. He was an important part of their lineup and offence. His rugged style of play and physicality was his hallmark and gave the opponent fits.
During his 20-year career as a player, he played 1484 games, scored 452 goals with 732 assists for 1184 points. He had 1100 penalty minutes with 397 power-play points and 67 game-winning goals.
With those stats, which include hoisting 1 Stanley Cup, I feel this player should be punching his ticket to the Hall of Fame very soon.
