Seldom do you see a 17-year-old dominate internationally at the mens level, not once, but twice, at the World Championship and Olympics.
Juraj Slafkovsky is an exception, as the six-foot-four Slovakian Moose fit swimmingly with players much older than him, and recently former Canadien Ben Chiarot reportedly made a funny statement regarding the 2022 first overall draft selection.
Certainly Slafkovsky is the age he says he is, but, apart from the mixed reactions he's garnered early in the NHL preseason, Slafkovsky has never shied away from the next level of competition. The Slovakian national team player wasted little time at the international mens level, and Habs fans are counting on the man-child reaching his potential.
