A lot of NHL players tend to join senior leagues after they end their NHL careers, but depending on how big of a name they are, some tend to have targets on their back.

Former NHL legend Ryan Smyth had an amazing 20-year stint in the NHL, spending 90% of his career start with the Oilers which transitioned into the Avalanche and LA Kings organization, before being sent back to the Oilers to retire in the blue and orange forever.
Ryan Joined a mens AAA league and a few years back was involved in a dirty collision, which has officially made him retire from hockey as a whole, check out the collision below.
Smyth needed trainers to help him off the ice, the dirty collision appeared to knock him out cold. His teammate came into his defence. This is quite the sad way to say goodbye to the game forever.
