Matthew Barnaby had a pretty decent NHL career. In 834 games, he registered 300 points. He played for 7 different teams from 1992 to 2007. Barnaby was coached by Tortorella when he was with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
And it seems like he didn't enjoy his experience.
"There are 6 coaches I would hire before Torts. 2022. I played for him and a former player on his Stanley Cup team texted me and said 'How many fucking players called their agents and are asking for a trade'," wrote Barnaby on Twitter.
