Former Philadelphia Flyer Pierre-Edouard Bellemare spent three years with the Flyers organization racking up over 237 games played, earning himself 44 points throughout his time in Black and Orange. One thing about Bellemare is even though he was not consistently on the score sheet, he was consistently making noticeable defensive plays on the Flyers backend, he can be compared to Scott Laughton in many ways.
Bellemare has since spent his days in the league with the Vegas Golden Knights, Colorado Avalanche and now the Tampa Bay Lightning where he sits on the fourth line with Patrick Maroon and Corey Perry, as well on the Lightning's first penalty kill unit.
In last night's Lightning vs Red Wings game, Bellemare was a victim of an illegal check to the head which is likely to result in a suspension or fine of some sort..
