Former Philadelphia Flyers' career hits an all-time low
On July 1st, during the off-season, former Philadelphia Flyers forward James Van Riemsdyk signed with the Boston Bruins.
In the wake of Chuck Fletcher's firing and Danny Briere leading the way on the rebuild, his contract expired at the end of the 2022-2023 season and the team refused to renew it.
Multiple trades were nixed during the season, only for Van Riemsdyk to sign with Boston as a depth option.
