Former Ranger Sean Avery convicted for attempted criminal mischief

In a recent report by TMZ today, we have now learned that former NHL player and renowned goon Sean Avery has been convicted of attempted criminal mischief.
Back in 2019, Avery was involved in a road rage incident which saw the former Ranger allegedly slammed his scooter into a citizen's car.
According to TMZ, Avery was found guilty of the accusations Thursday June 16, after a short bench trial.
"Avery was sentenced to time served. The judge in the case also issued full orders of protection for the victims."

Reports of the incident reveal that Avery damaged a New York businessman's car over an argument over bike lanes. The man claims to have suffered damages to his car's door which stood near where his 4-year old daughter was then sitting. His wife and daughter were also in the car while Avery hurled insults at the family.
The New York Post reports that upon learning of his sentence, Avery was seen smirking whilst wearing a pair of sunglasses.
"He (Avery) also admitted to mocking the motorist, venture capitalist Jonathan Schulhof, for being bald."
, writes the Post.
Avery had been facing up to three months in prison for the incident.
