Former NHL forward Brandon Dubinsky came out on Twitter and made a very enigmatic comment with regards to Tortorella being hired as the Flyers' new head coach.
Dubinsky, 36, played a total of eight NHL seasons under the fiery coach. Four with the Blue Jackets and four with the Rangers where he made a name for himself by being the thorn in Sidney Crosby's side, annoying him until the bitter end.
As seen here, Dubinsky sends his prayers to the Flyers' players but nobody knows how to interpret it. Does this mean they will be put in a boot camp type system and be whipped into shape or is Dubinsky just not a huge fan of the man?
In any case, having this much publicity and overall opinions from so many different perspectives can be a good and bad thing. The one trend with Torts is, either you love him or hate him. And right now, the Flyers can't afford for this decision to go south.
